Brian Richards - Drums, Vocals

A native Nebraskan, Brian has been in live music since 1994. Currently residing
in Albuquerque, NM he is continuing to perform in multiple groups including the
Chris Kill Trio.
Being a dependable musician that can learn songs fast and play a show
sometimes without any rehearsal, Brian is becoming a musician that local artists
are starting to trust. When you hear him play, you can tell he cut his teeth on
country music both vocally and playing the drums.
After two years in college studying Music Education, he went on the road and
played the country bar scene for approximately nine years. During that time he
was in several bands from the Midwest: Harvest Creek from Scottsbluff, NE;
Shallow Creek from Livingston, TX; Seventh Heaven from St. Louis, MO; Debbie
Collins from Columbus, OH; Tim Holcomb and the Union Cowboys from
Kearney, NE; Midnite Fire from Albuquerque, NM; 3
Degree from Nashville, TN;
and The Bar Flies from Chadron, NE.
During that time he had the opportunity to perform a showcase with Debbie
Collins in Toronto, Canada for Sony Records and shoot a professional music
video for her original “That’s the Way” which aired on CMT Canada for three
months. Here is a link to that video:
Currently residing in Albuquerque, NM he is continuing to pursue music as a
career. Brian is a member of The Chris Kill Trio and also plays an acoustic duo
with Chris.
